Blending virtuosic talent with a hint of kitsch and comedy, the Belle Air Brass takes music and entertainment to the outer limits where no brass ensemble has gone before. Led by trumpeter Deb Wagner, the acclaimed quintet has been performing in Los Angeles since 1990, including tours ranging from the Tokyo Women's Jazz Festival to the Royal Hall of Taipei in Taiwan. Long term engagements at The Grove, Universal Studios Hollywood, the Queen Mary and the Los Angeles County Fair. Among it's numerous credits, the group released its first CD titled "Simply Struttin'". The CD includes performances by two very special guestsGeorge Segal singing and playing the banjo on two standards, Bill Bailey and Peoria. Also joining the group is Tony-winner Faith Prince (Spin City, Huff) who adds her personality to Mean to Me and Feets to Big and 2004 Grammy Nominee adds a solo to Struttin with some BBQ.. The Belle Air Brass has been a top prize winner at the Summit Brass Competition (Keystone, CO), were the house band for the International Congress of Cowboys and Indians (Scottsdale, AZ) and were featured act at Ballys Las Vegas and in the lounge at the Bourbon Street Casino. They have performed at Hollywood movie premieres such as the 2006 release of Santa Claus 3: The Escape Claus T.V Appearances include CNN News, CBS This Morning, Today in LA Weekend, AM Arizona, E! Television, and TV shows in Japan, Taiwan and Australia (Hey, Hey Its Saturday). Events such as the Superbowl, the World Cup, opening for Mr. Hancock at Herbie Hancocks' Digital Jam, opening for Ron Carter at the 1st Womens Jazz Festival in Tokyo and they even got their start in show business by a winning performance on The Gong Show. The Belle Air Brass offers educational programs for levels ranging from
primary school to university. In 2005 The Belle Air Brass were chosen
by the Coleman Chamber Music Association to represent them in their Meet
the Musi cians Concert Series. In addition, The Belle Air Brass
is available through the Recording Industries' Performance Trust Fund
